Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born into a mixed ethnic family. The mother of her child is English and her father Nigerian. She was raised on a council estate in the south of London. At the age fourteen, she was enrolled at The Brit School. In London she attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was earned. The stage she appeared in was numerous productions during her time at school like the King Henry V, as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. The actress has been guest in Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her first role in a film was Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Following this acclaim, she was cast as Elisha in the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and was featured for six seasons Trexx and Flipside. Also, the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl featured her in 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe was a part of the Comedy film How to Lose Friends & Get People to Leave. She also appeared in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written by David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut on the drama The Beautiful Life, which just aired two episodes on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge in February of 2011. Madekwe was a regular on the drama series of Revenge on ABC during two seasons. In May 2013 that she'd be leaving the series following a guest episode in the initial season of the third. Madekwe starred as Tituba in the television series Salem from 2014 until 2016. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June of 2012. They have worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and he is also a part of the cast on the show Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's brothers were athletic and were avid baseball players during the summer months and hockey during winters. Ashley was not a walker, but she was a dancer. When she was two and half she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley began to be a dancer after this. Ashley competed in ballet, jazz and tap in high divisions. She was the top soloist in major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
