Meagan Good's mom Tyra was just a teenager at the time she was employed for Panorama City as a manager and father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman in LAPD. The family grew up within Canyon Country with her three brothers and sisters in California. At 4 years old she started acting. She appeared as an extra to TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen & M.D. at the start of her acting career. At the age of thirteen, her debut role in a film Friday took place. Her role as Cisely an angry teenager in Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered the attention of her peers. For this she received two nominations which included her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award Nomination. Good was in small film and on television over the several years. She started taking on more mature roles as early as the year 2000. She was Nina on Cousin Skeeter the Nickelodeon T.V. From 1998 to 2001, she played in the TV series "Cousin Skeeter". In addition, she had small parts in the film House Party to the Last Minute (1998) as well as 3 Strikes (2000). In 2003, she played Vanessa Scott in My Wife and Kids. She appeared on D.E.B.S (2004) which was a comedy action film. This movie earned her the nomination of Best Actress by the Black Movie Awards for 2005. After that, she starred in a variety of films, including Cookout Venom Waist deep and The Love Guru. Following a busy year on T.V. In movies, she portrayed Mya in Think Like a Man with the help of many actors as well as playing Ms. Stevens as Dysfunctional. Killmer originates from Texas and studied at Baylor University, Waco Texas. She earned a degree in performing arts. In performing arts, her degree which she received in 2010. Kara Killmer's career on screen began in the year 2010 when she appeared on the pilot episode of Simon Fuller's Hulu television series If I Can Dream. The Hulu series If I Can Dream revolves on the daily lives of bunch of performers who reside in Hollywood California.
