Sofia and Ann

Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California when she was 5 years old. She was raised living in Orange County. In 2015, she earned her degree from the University of California San Diego and got her first break as an actor. Pernas was a guest on a couple of episodes on NCIS and Leverage, before securing the role as Marisa in The Young and the Restless. After leaving the soap opera in 2016, the actress was able to land the role of a regular on Jane the Virgin as Catalina. She is a model who speaks four languages has since appeared in The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. From 2019 through 2020, she appeared as Lexi Vaziri in Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas was dating Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. This is Us' star Pernas first began dating Justin Hartley after her split with Chrishell Stause, who she had been married to in November of this year. In May of 2021, it was reported that news broke that Pernas Hartley had just got married in secret.
