Harry

Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British musician and a vocalist. Harry Styles was one of the founding members of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994, and is the father of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where he created his own band, composed of 3 classmates. The band he called White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they took home the trophy. The musician was always fascinated by music but also wanted to pursue a career as an attorney, physiotherapist or even scout. He was employed at the local bakery for a few hours to help his family financially. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the 2010 auditions for The X Factor. The group were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he join of a new band, One Direction. The other group members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group. They were first created in the year 2010. The group was backed by Simon Cowell. They performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You as well Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were among the best contenders for the competition. However they were placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell were not able to get the win in the contest. However, Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
