Simone Biles
Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.), was considered as one of sport's best athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place in Rio de Janeiro and Biles was one of the U.S.'s only female gymnast ever to win 4 gold medals. She also won the world championship for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles grew up within Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after she and her younger sister Adria received adoption by parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman, when she was just six years old. She stayed at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles won the vault and floor exercises at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an top competition levels in the year the year 2011. The following year Biles was the king of the field. What stood Biles apart was the consistency of her flamboyant attitude as well as the level of difficulty she incorporated into her workout routines for the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise.
